We are seeking a veteran Service Advisor. Honda, Toyota, or GM experience is a plus but not a requirement. Must be a customer-focused Service Advisor. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service while facilitating their vehicle maintenance and repair needs. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive systems, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage service operations efficiently. CDK and Xtime experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform an Active Write up and delivery process

  • Greet customers and assess their vehicle maintenance and repair needs.

  • Provide detailed explanations of services required, including vehicle maintenance, automotive repair, and tire service.

  • Collaborate with service technicians to ensure accurate diagnosis and effective communication of repair processes.

  • Prepare service estimates and work orders, ensuring clarity in service writing.

  • Maintain records of customer interactions and transactions in an organized manner.

  • Follow up with customers regarding their vehicle status and any additional services needed.

  • Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly and professionally.

  • Stay updated on automotive technology trends and service management practices.

Job requirements

Qualifications

  • Strong mechanical knowledge with a background in automotive repair or related fields.

  • Experience as a Service Technician or in auto service management is preferred.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to customers.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
